Sarah Fry - Melbourne Dance Choreographer, Fashionista, Model, Interior Designer
Sarah Fry is a professional dancer, model and entrepreneur from New Zealand. Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia pursuing her career in the creative & performing arts.
Born and breed in the small town of Rotorua, Sarah completed studying her Certificate in Interior Design and moved to Auckland the City of Sails in 2006 to begin her dance training at Excel School of Performing Arts.
After graduating from Excel Sarah returned to her hometown in 2007 where she began teaching dance and joined Crucial Movement Dance Crew and AMJazz Studios.
In 2008 Sarah moved back to Auckland becoming a full time dance tutor and founded Inspiring New Zealands Performing Young Artists (INZPYA: pronounced inspire) and directed, choreographed and performed with the dance crew for its first two years. Including dancing and choreographing music videos for international artist Savage 'Hot like fire', 4DG featuring Nesian Mystik 'Remember', Mz J 'That Gurl' & Cydel 'I want you'. She has competed and performed at events throughout New Zealand and INZPYA is now a successful Dance Academy based on the North Shore, Auckland.
In 2010 Sarah started working at The Radio Network as a Promotions and Events Representative for New Zealands National Radio Stations FLAVA and ZM.
Later that year, Sarah began dancing in a group called THE CLASS where her love for choreography and creating conceptual pieces developed more evidently.
2011 hit and along with her good friend Margaret Ling they founded and directed WOMENESQUE. The pair created empowering, fun and inspirational dance and beauty workshops for women of all ages. In the beginning of 2012 they also directed and choreographed WOMENESQUE The Show which consisted of a cast of 13 beautiful women, 4 sold out shows, over 2 nights and 4 weeks to put the entire event together.
Shortly after the show Sarah ventured to America for 3 months of dance training and travel visiting Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas. Where she meet and took classes from her favourite Dancers and inspirational Choreographers at Debbie Reynolds, Movement Lifestyle, Millennium Dance Complex, I.D.A and Broadway Dance Studios, NY.
Upon returning to New Zealand after her life changing trip she was motivated more than ever and moved to Australia to further pursue her dancing career.
