Nikon D600, problems of dirt on the sensor and solutions on how to clean
As reported in Lensrentals , news of which was also echoed Nikonrumors , the new Nikon D600 could present problems of dirt on the sensor due to a small gap around the plug. It is actually commonplace and seems not entirely new, but it makes one cry you too dear?
Anyway since Lensrental us know that units have had to send cleaned pretenecen the serial numbers 300xxxx or 301xxxx SN . Suggest that more inspections and tests performed. Lensrentals remind you, is one of the services of photographic equipment rental biggest U.S. Apparently the problem of the dirt and dust particles comes from remaining gap in the shutter curtain as you can see on the image above ( gap that exists in many models, but which for some strange reason the dust is filtered). Saying that, of course, to see the images well, dust spots seem "huge" and more than one will walk very worried about this issue. That does not mean they are there always appear but it will most likely appear and in decision notice.
As discussed with a simple spray of compressed air (or the usual "pear" ) dust spots disappear without much problem. If you want to do your own testing has long since what you have here . Another issue of concern is somewhat obscuring the upper and lower left corners, which is why all units sent to clean. Hopefully you have a quick reaction from Nikon to clarify this issue officially, because we carry a 2012 in which certain problems should not have appeared never operating models.
